A single defeat does not preclude a player or team from winning a
Double Elimination Tournament. After the first round, the tournament
participants are subdivided into two brackets.
Winners bracket: The winners of the first round
Losers bracket: Losers of the first round
In every round, the losers in the winners bracket step down to play in
the losers bracket. The losers in the losers bracket are eliminated from
the tournament, while the winners are paired with each other for the next
round. For the final round, the winner of the winners bracket
plays with the winner of the losers bracket.
