Like the community in which you live, the Virtual Places Chat (VPchat)
community works best when everyone follows some basic standards of conduct.
First, some common sense guidelines:
-
Don't
give out personal information while chatting. Halsoft (the company which provides VPchat) is not responsible
for any problems resulting from the exchange of personal information.
-
Don't accept files unless you're absolutely certain of their
integrity. Halsoft
is not responsible for any viruses or corruption of data resulting from
file exchange.
As a member of VPchat you are liable for all activities and
conduct of all usernames on your account. Listed below are some, though not
all, activities that may result in the termination of your account.
-
Harassing
or threatening behavior toward other chatters.
-
Transmission
via VPchat of any content that is unlawful; harmful; threatening;
harassing; defamatory; or racially, religiously or ethnically hateful,
including threats pertaining to sexual orientation.
-
Impersonation
of any other chatter or Halsoft representative.
-
Use
of any unauthorized scripts or applications that cause unacceptable
disruptions to VPchat software.
-
Transmission
of any advertising, promotional materials, or other solicitations not
authorized by Halsoft.
-
Violation
of any local, state, national, or international laws.
-
Use
of offensive language and/or avatars in the family community.
Halsoft will rely on a combination of logged warnings,
logged ignores, and guide and member information to determine member standing.
Halsoft reserves the right to monitor some, all, or none of
the chat rooms at any time. Halsoft may revoke membership privileges and/or
take any other appropriate measures to enforce these guidelines if violations
are brought to our attention. Revoked memberships are not entitled to refunds
of any kind.
By participating in VPchat, you agree that Halsoft can
display, modify, transmit, publish, or distribute your posts without permission
from you. Halsoft does not edit postings and is not responsible for
the content of posted comments or images.
