Locating Someone

The Locate tool searches the chat community for a specific member name and shows the chat room in which they're participating.

To locate a chatter:

• Click on the Locate button at the bottom of the people list, or choose Locate from the Tools menu.
• In the Search For field, type all or part of the chatter's member name. You can select Exact Match if you know the person's entire member name or select Case Sensitive if you know the chatter is using upper and lower case letters.
• Click Locate. The matching name(s) will appear in the Locate window.
• From there, you can send a Private Message, go to the chat room where that chatter is participating, or view their identity.
